Photography

I absolutely adore taking pictures, i love to take photos and to have photos taken of me. Even with an old camera that doesn't have much pixels or a good zoom you can still manage to take some interesting photos if you use a little bit imagination an play around a bit.

You can have some great effect if you overexpose photos.

                     

Dishes (Romanian style)

In the world today dishes are mostly plain and are made out of something that resembles porcelain. Of course you can find porcelain ones, glass ones and even plastic ones. In Romania we still keep old way of making dishes alive, dishes made out of clay.

 

What I like most about this dishes is that they have beautiful paintings on them and each one is unique, even if you have two bowls with the same painting on them they are slightly different. They also come in a variety of sizes, from the smallest bowl in which you can put souses to the largest in which you can make salats.

 

If you are eating out in Romania and want to try out eating from this traditional dishes then I suggest to find an inn or another place that serves mostly traditional romanian food, they usually use this kind of dishes.

monasteries

One thing is for sure about Romania we do love our monasteries. They come in such a great number it is very difficult not to find  at list one in your region. They all have beautiful gardens and a tranquility to them, but I think that the older ones are the best. How big the garden is depends on each monastery, some of the even have ponds full of water lilies. But the true beauty of old romanian monasteries is the buildings themselves. The inside of the buildings are entirely covered in paintings, sometimes even the outer, and the gates of the monasteries have the most impressive woodwork that you have ever seen. It is no wonder that people visiting Romania also visit the monasteries :)

Cheile Nerei

There are a lot of great places to visit in Romania One of the is Cheile Nerei, it is a natural reserve straight out of a fairy tale :D

There are a lot of breathtaking watherfalls

And last but not least the Ochiul Beiului lake

a day at the ocean

Back in January 2012 I was visiting England, a very good friend of mine lives there. The experience was amazing. I saw the ocean for the first time :)
