Venice Italy

As I already mentioned in my previous post I have been living in Italy for a few month, I was lucky enough to live 60 km away from Venice, one of the most beautifulest cities I have ever seen. So I had the ocasion to visit Venice as well. Now what can I say about Venice, beside the fact that it is just like in the movies? Well I can say that it is definitely full of tourists, and I can understand why. The narrow streets, the old buildings with an incredible architecture, the water flowing through the city, the water taxies, the opening at the sea make this city an incredible place to visit. Without doubt this is a city like no other, which has a mesmerizing beauty that can't be described in words. If you ever have the oportunity to visit Venice I recommend that you take it, I promise you won't regret it. Just be sure you keep your money safe because iti is very crowded and there are a lot of beggars (sadly most of them are romanian gypsies) so it is better to be safe than sory. And if you want something to remember Venice you can always buy a Venice mask from one of the many shops and street sellers.

Cittadella Italy

So I haven't been blogging in a while because I moved to Italy for a few months and I had no internet where I was staying. But not I'm back in Romania where the internet speed is amazing so I am going to start blogging again. And what better way to start blogging after returning from Italy than about Italy. :)
In Italy I had the occasion to visit some wonderful places. One of them being the the Medieval walled city Cittadella, situated in the region of Veneto in northern Italy. The town is surrounded by a wall build by the Romans, of course the city has expended outside the wall over time but inside the old buildings of Cittadella stil stand. If you want you can even take a tour up on the wall, like the guards of the city once did, for the fee of 5 euros. In the begging of autumn ther is even a medieval festival that lasts for 3 days in which they recreate battles for the Medieval period, concerts and other events.
