Stonehenge

Back in 2011 I was blessed with the opportunity to visit Stonehenge. It was a dream of mine ever since I was a child (I actually dream of visiting a lot of places in this beautiful world) but it was a lot different than I had expected. Not in my wildest dreams would I had imagined that Stonehenge is surrounded by a small green fence, it doesn't appear in any photos that I had seen or in any video. That's why it is painted green :P, it is not visible in my pictures either. To bad that you had a path on which you had to stay on and you couldn't go between the stones, not to mention touch them. On the plus side you were given a headset which told you all the history of Stonehenge, the myths and legends and the superstitions.
All in all it is a very beautiful place to visit and I would gladly go there again. :)

Stonehenge is part of UNESCO World Heritage English Heritage and has an entry fee (back in 2011 it was 12 pounds ).
